Season’s greetings!

What a year this has been for Ten Towers Cider Co. We’ve been in business officially for 2 years now and have grown leaps-and-bounds with three flagship ciders and one seasonal cider…Gravitas, Soulless Pear, Voodoo Lady, and Shakti or “The Divine Mother” in the Hindu religion. Shakti Spiced Chai Tea Cider is first in line for our tea series of ciders that will be offered during the Fall/Winter months. It has a wonderful chai flavor and fantastic aroma. If you love chai, you need to give it a try.

In 2020, Ten Towers Cider plans on developing a few new ciders that will expand our line and give our fans more to choose from. First is our imperial cider called Valkyrie which is going to top out at a respectable 8.5% ABV. Second is our Spring/Summer tea cider made with apples, peaches and a peach tea blend from Open Heart Tea Company. It should be wonderful!

Besides these two ciders, Steve Anderson and I are always coming up with new cider flavors and ideas, like using a rare apple/crabapple that has red flesh that produces a brilliant red juice and imparts tannins that will balance out a perfect Rose Cider. Our last experiment is making a traditional dry cider using bittersharps and bittersweet apples from local orchards that specialize in these types of apples. Learning about different heritage apples has broadened my knowledge of cider specific apples and given me more ideas for the future. Can you say pommeau?
